Hi, my name is David Lukas. I am a PHP / Zend Framework developer. I am an advocate of design patterns, testability and clean well commented code. I am a Zend Certified Engineer – PHP 5.3 + Zend Framework.
I am the rare breed (or am I?) of developer running PHP on Windows in my development as well as production environments. I am a Microsoft Certified Professional – Small Business Specialist (MCP – SBS).
When not staring at my computer screen I love to spend time with my family and in the rare moments of having nothing to do I go and ride my motorbike.
About the blog
I would like to share my experience with PHP / Zend Framework development — the problems I stumbled upon and the solutions I (hopefully) found. I have learnt much of what I know about web app development from various sources on the web and this blog is an attempt to give back to the community of PHP developers.
Although this should be primarily a professionally biased web, it is still my personal blog and I might occassionally liven up the boring work posts with even more boring personal stuff.
